Seat billing runs on Dashtray's web checkout, separate from store billing. * **You (the team owner) pay** - seats are billed to your card, decoupled from your own plan. Downgrading or cancelling your own Pro never removes your sponsored members. * **Anyone can be invited**: people with no Dashtray account, or whose own plan has lapsed, can be sponsored - they sign up with the invited email and get Pro immediately, no paywall. * **No trial on seats** - a seat is active from the first payment. * **Removing a seat** gives the member a **7-day grace period** with Pro before the sponsorship ends. Example: an agency with 10 sponsored clients pays $29 (own Pro) + 10 × $29 = \$319/mo, with zero signup friction for the clients. ## Teams on Starter Starter users can't create teams, but they can **join** teams (via invite or join code) and collaborate in shared alerts at no extra cost. Team membership is included in the Starter plan - only *creating* teams requires an active Pro plan or an active sponsored-seats plan. Members per team are unlimited on every plan. ## Goals * **Starter:** Up to 10 goals total (active and inactive count toward the cap) * **Pro:** Unlimited goals ## Feature Details ### Notifications **What counts:** * Notifications delivered to your phone (via webhooks, REST API, or MCP) * Unlimited on all plans - there is no monthly notification cap; the monthly counter in Settings is informational only ### API Requests **Rate limits** (per 60-second rolling window, per API key): ``` Starter: 100 per minute Pro: 1,000 per minute ``` When you exceed your limit: * Requests get `429 Too Many Requests` with a `Retry-After: 60` header * Can retry after the window resets ### Webhook Rate Limits Each alert (regardless of plan) is limited to **60 webhook requests per minute**. Excess requests are rejected with `429` - they are not queued. ### History Retention * **Starter:** 30 days - older notifications are auto-purged * **Pro:** 1 year ### Teams * **Starter:** Can join teams (no extra cost), unlimited members per team * **Pro:** Create teams - free and unlimited, unlimited members each. Creating a team requires an active Pro plan or an active sponsored-seats plan. * **Sponsored seats:** \$29/mo per seat, purchased on the web and billed to the team owner ## Free Trial * 7-day trial of the plan you pick, **card required** (one trial per account) * Web signups start the trial through Dashtray's card checkout * Mobile purchases through the App Store / Play Store follow the store's own trial configuration (in-app purchase policies) - see the app for current store terms * Sponsored seats have **no trial** - they're active from the first payment * If you don't convert, your plan simply ends - there is no free tier. You'll see the paywall until you subscribe again (your last 30 days of history stay safe). ## Billing Notes * **Web** billing runs through Dashtray's card checkout; **mobile** subscriptions are billed through the App Store / Play Store (managed by RevenueCat). Both write the same plan to your account. * Cancel or change plans from the app or web at any time (Settings → Manage plan). When a subscription ends, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. * Sponsored seats are billed separately on the web and managed from Settings → Plan; removing a seat gives that member a 7-day grace period. * Yearly billing is available for the base plans: Starter $84/year (save 22%), Pro $264/year (save 27%).
